Unique collection of fascinating plants. Extremely knowledgeable owner/grower.
Visited Shropshire Sarracenias on Saturday 01 June 2019 when it was open for the NGS National Garden Scheme for charity. The garden is mainly occupied by three large greenhouses filled with thousands of samples of carnivorous plants which the owner lovingly cares for. He kindly explained and showed us how he feeds the picture plants with gold fish food. The Venus fly traps are in a second greenhouse and need to live off live flies ! Amazingly there are over fifty water butts for collecting and storing rain water. The house has solar panels to make the whole thing carbon neutral.
Had 10 fantastic sarracenia delivered today ,great quality plants,and packaged so well in proper plastic sleeve bags with protection inside each one . Much better than plants from some other suppliers that are covered by miles of cling film that's difficult to remove.
Stunning collection. Plants looking in their best shape ever. Colours very vivid and varied.
Utterly Fabulous. Fantastic Sarracenia display
