Very busy pub serving mostly carvery. Excellent food.

Good selection of pub grub. I was with a group of 20 plus who all enjoyed their meals. Friendly staff made for a great night out

We had lunch here. Busy but pretty good on Covid-19 precautions. Gluten-free no problem, and a good meal, promptly served.

Fantastic place to stay the most  quirky rooms very friendly and helpful staff in the pub ,good bar food free parking

Fantastic Sunday roast served by lovely waiting staff.  Very busy place but lovely buzz about it.  Have been here before for Sunday lunch as well as staying in the accommodation.  Always our go tomplace in Kendal.

Food good, but service variable. Sometimes good, sometimes bad. Depends on who you get to interact with. Dog and child  friendly though.

Forgot to take a picture at the start of the fish and chips but at the end the plate tells it own story,
