Authentic, cosy, amazing food, and polite, friendly staff.

Well kept beers and well welcomed.. certainly a dog friendly pub as even had treats for my pooch. Will be back when next in the lake district

We travelled to the Lake District from Scotland for a week away. We visited the Globe Inn for some lunch which was brilliant and the gammon steak was the best I've had. There was a lingering smell of damp but would understand that  with places being closed for sometime but this would not put us off coming back.

Nice place to sit outside as one of the only pubs in kendal that when you sit outside you are not up an alley

Lovely pub with great food! Would visit again and would recommend to others.

Really nice meal, warm and friendly atmosphere. The owner was awesome, fully recommend stopping in here are a meal.
