I promised myself and the staff at the Romanian consulate that I will write a short review. 
My passport was sent from Romania and I enquired whether it had been received in Edinburgh. I would like to say that I was profoundly impressed with their prompt and friendly responses throughout our email correspondence (response time within minutes). I have just picked up my passport and again, I had a pleasant experience. Previously, I have requested my passport to be sent to the consulate in London. It took them approximately 10 days to respond to my email. They never responded to my numerous phone calls. Upon arrival, the staff were very rude and disrespectful. For the staff in London, please know that your colleagues in Edinburgh are on your side! When I mentioned the experience in London, they went down the diplomatic route telling me that you are perhaps too busy, however, I see that as no excuse.

Im happy to tell my experience at Romanian consulat this september when i need  a travel document for an emergency ..
Very friendly and profesional staff .. in few hours i had my document  done ..
Well done Romania ..
Im sorry for the people with bad revews , probably in the past and with other staff ..

Need to work on Customer Services, not very friendly or polite with visitors, though they only serve Romanian Public but little bit of public service refreshers ll go a long way, anyway that's my review they might agree to differ

Unprofessional and rude staff. The consul is condescending and refuses to admit mistakes.
