Roker park is a beautiful park just by the coast, a great place to walk on a sunny day. When the illuminations are on the park has alot of different light set ups, there has been 'Alice in Wonderland', 'Dr. Who' among others. It is great for children and there are side shows of rides and stalls selling food and drinks. You start at the top and follow the route down through the different set ups and as you get close to the bottom you are in a gulley with steep sides and the light shows down there are excellent, really atmospheric as the steep sides of the cliff create a good atmosphere. When you come out of the bottom you are right next to the sea, this is a must for anyone who has not been down during the illuminations.

Its a small decent park beside roker beach. Great place for spending some time peacefully.

Went to see the Sunderland illuminations they were great my daughter loved them. The security was fantastic and the park was clean definitely recommend to go and see them.

A proper old fashion park with a lake for boats for children and there boats and there are lovely gardens here very peaceful and sometimes they have events here

Good quaint place, nice walk amongst beautiful surroundings. Good place for kids to play. Small but picturesque lake. Model trainspotting.
