Milo, my ' Heinz 57 ' mixed breed dog, 8yrs old had surgery and x-rays at the Longton branch of RBB. Such a lovely, caring and professional staff. I was so worried and they reassured me that everything would be fine...and it was! Milo loved being there and would probably happily go back tomorrow!! The care for him was second to none.nI usually take him to the Cheadle branch for his checkups etc and he considers those visits as a treat!nI can't think of any down sides to my encounters with RBB...thanks so much!nJW
Our family cat Rupert was taken ill, he was taken in immediately, no delay, sadly 2 days later he passed away, nothing could be done but everything was done to try and save him, we and Rupert received excellent care and kindness from all the staff, they made a sad time much more bearable. We were given plenty of time with him and they kept in touch with us at all times. Thank you all very much.
I am absolutely fuming. My dogs have been with rogers, brock and barker for about 13 years and 8 years, i have spent thousands and both are on healthy pet club and have had other pets during and before i had my dogs so my family has been with the vets for about 20 years. i am owed a refund and 7 weeks down the line and i still haven't received it. I have chased this up pretty much each week and when my dogs have been to the vets.its apparently been chased up by 4 different people and has already been sent to management who approved it last week after 6 weeks, i was reassured it would be applied to my account last week, tried to use it on monday and the receptionist was arsey and it still hasn't been applied and that it would need to go to management AGAIN. Ive rang today again and it hasnt been applied and has to go to management AGAIN. How many times does it need to go to managemen? I pay my vets bills in full straight after my consultation and as I've said, ive spent thousands over the years and they cant even be arsed to apply a small refund to my account. What if the refund was a large amount that was needed to fund the treatment of one of my dogs and he couldnt get treatment without those funds? Ive also had a promise for a call back regarding medication for my dog last friday and they couldnt be bothered to ring me back, i had to chase it again. I am not happy and if the refund is not applied to my account today, ill be cancelling healthy pet club and finding a new vets for my dogs. Im not one to write reviews but it has been an absolute piss take, ive wasted time, effort and energy to try and get this resolved and still no closer to a resolution 7 weeks down the line. Disgusting
Not happy the way the death of our pet has been handled. Our cat was very sadly put to sleep with this vet after spending over £1,100 for his care. He was put to sleep on a Friday afternoon and I opted to take the weekend to think about what to do with his remains. I rang up on Monday as promised, told them we had decided to have him cremated with their recommended crematorium, and that I'd also called the crematorium myself and told them, AND I paid the final balance for his care he'd recieved on the Friday.nI ring up the crematorium today to find out where the keepsakes are that we purchased only to find out the vet hadn't even sent him! Or prepared him!nThe vet receptionist denied I rang them on Monday of course they would, but how did you get paid? Because I DID ring and you didn't sort it out!nAlready so upsetting we lost our family pet anyway without having to chase you over a week later.nAll I got was a few refusals that I never rang and told them anything and a soggy apology that means naff all. I have sent in a complaint but I can see from other people's reviews that they are ignored for long periods.nI would encourage anyone in the same boat to contact the Veterinary Client Mediation Service VCMS which is like the financial ombudsman for veterinary care.
When we first moved to the area our darling female rabbit Celestine became unwell and we got very concerned.nWe were able to register her and her bonded mate Shadow very quickly.nThey saw her the same day we called the service was fantastic.nShe is all better now and I want to give a special thanks to Alison, Gracie and Lauren for all their help with her appointments and payments
