Fiona and her receptionist are both incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and go above and beyond.  I found her via the British Hen Welfare Trust’s recommended list,  who I got my rescue girls from.  Very few avian specialists are avail and it’s v upsetting when they get ill without the right expertise but Fiona was kind enough to email me with detailed advice on another hen,  before I’d even registered and once the girls were registered she was able to see my poorly bird the same day I rang.  She swiftly  prescribed the right meds and I even got a follow up call the next day.  All this from a one vet practice who are incredibly busy.  With most of the vets taken over by US Corporates who charge £70 just to walk in the door, it’s lovely to find a small practice with the personal touch, expertise and very fair prices.

I’ve previously not had very good experiences of taking my chickens to vets,  spending lots of money and still ending up loosing my hen. Not anymore! Fiona was amazing, spot on diagnosis and treatment. 5 days later my hen is good as new, not to mention the bargain cost of consultation and treatment. One very happy customer!

Excellent service from an outstanding veterinarian and staff. Very affordable medication unlike kernow vets franchise who charge an arm and a leg. You and your pet are treated like a patient with care and not looked at as a customer with cash.

Had to take my rescue cats here for their vaccinations as it was covered in the adoption fees.  First impression was poor as it took them 3 weeks plus and 3 phone calls to actually provide an appointment. Then, when we arrived, we were not allowed to enter the surgery which seemed odd.  We had to go back to the car and wait for the vet to come and take our pets inside.  Not helpful for pets that are already stressed.  The vet was wearing a mask - even whilst outside in the car park.  I then realised they are still applying 2020 Covid restrictions!  The receptionist was rude and kept insisting the cats belonged to the rescue centre even though it was confirmed previously that they were now ours.  Clearly not interested in customer service.  Having read the other negative reviews whilst sat in their car park, we decided that we would get the second vaccinations done by our own vets and pay again rather than return here.  Would not recommend!  Got to Kernow vets instead!!

Although our experience with this practice was heartbreaking, Fiona and her staff were wonderful. Our little dog Poppy, was treated with dignity and respect, right to the end and so were we. They accommodated our request to spend time with our baby, so that we could say our last goodbyes.

Just fantastic. They know their stuff. Great prices. Just thankful they are here. Highly recommend

Disappointed to learn that they ate not taking on any new patients, we have just moved to Roche with our cocker spaniels and thought they would be perfect and virtually on our doorstep.

Everything about this vets is amazing!! The wonderful care my gorgeous dog recieved when she was there for her op was faultless and she is now on the road to recovery. Thankyou

The whole team are so caring and show  compassion I wouldn't want my pets to go anywhere else.

Fiona looked after my dear old chap for 13 years and was always very helpful. On his final day they managed to get us in quickly and did what was needed and made us feel like they really cared. We were in bits and the experience was made easier with how compassionate they were.
