Had dinner here tonight. Had the lamb shoulder, legit fell apart straight way. My friend had the chuck burger and said it was the best burger she has ever had. Really generous portions for the price too. Definitely recommend and will return for food. Had drinks after and the atmosphere was so inviting! Everyone was so kind and helpfulstaff and locals they were so friendly and including. Definitely recommend and will return.

Good Sunday lunch not far from the A30 if you want a friendly rest and meal out. They are family and dog friendly. The landlord really cares about giving good service. The steak night is highly recommended and great valve.

Been here a couple of times in the last few weeks. Large group for Mothers day for a Sunday carvery and a week night. Good was great and service was really friendly. Nice atmosphere in the pub too.

The carvery was lovely, a wide selection of freshly cooked vegetables and the Beef was superb for flavour and easy to cut. The staff were polite and quick to meet your needs. Well done all

On holiday and called in for a Sunday Carvery. Have visited before but not for 2 years and always been pleased. Discovered new landlord only took over 2 months ago. Very warm welcome. Excellent carvery with good selection of meat and vegetables and all cooked to perfection. Wishing the new landlord every success and will definitely be visiting again.

Great atmosphere, great food, great service, and one of the best steaks I’ve ever had! Friday night steak night is a must!

One of the best pubs in Cornwall, great atmosphere. You stand at the bar and order like a real British pub. None of this ridiculous queueing at the bar. Thursday night is burger night. I had the best burger I’ve ever had... ever. And I like burgers. Also one of the best pints of Guinness in Cornwall too.

Just visited for the first time. It was "Fish Friday " so 2-4-1 fish and chips £14 for 2 fish and chips - excellent value for really great food. Can't fault the food or service, will certainly be back to try the Steak night and carvery
