Good tidy and well equipt room in a good location for those heading down to any location in Cornwall, saves some of the cost compared to the more popular areas. Some of the extra blankets on the bed could do with a more regular wash, so dropping a star for cleanliness, but the sheets, towels and surfaces were all spotless so overall a good room. Lively pub atmosphere and reasonable drink prices with decent music, had a nice evening in the pub. Unfortunately our main disappointment was no one provided breakfast even though we had paid for it, but management did sort us out a generous part refund after I gave them a call which made up for us having to go and buy it. Just wish we had been told beforehand.
I can honestly say this was the most welcoming and friendly pub I have ever walked into. A couple of regulars and bar maid happy to chat straight away and the Landlord even introduced himself which I have never experienced before. I was with a friend and we both enjoyed a very good lunch with very well kept ales. Fortunately don't live too far away so we'll be back.
This pub is a little gem if you are planning a visit to the Eden Project. It's less than a 10min drive and has free parking around the back and free wi-fi. The food was amazing! Fish n chips was incredible for £7.95. Good atmosphere. Price for rooms per night were very affordable and actually quite decent. Please bear in mind that this is a village pub and the only place that locals can unwind and relax so things can get a bit noisy and emotional. You have to be able to mingle and respect. I will come back again but not with my 68yr old Christian mother. It was a good experience. Thanks to all at The Bugle Inn.

I absolutely loved staying here. Perfect The location is great for all the sights but not great if you want to do a pub crawl. The staff are friendly, remember everything about you and have great conversations with you. The locals are funny and will have a natter. The food and drinks are great and the rooms are well kept Dog friendly place
Excellent and friendly service, decent food, nice breakfast and best of all - dog friendly. Room was small but clean. TV was comically small. Quite a bit of road noise but calmed down by 11pm.
Great local pub - a proper pub, with well kept St Austell's ales. Good food too. Dogs welcome. Rooms not rated as we didn't stay.Service: 4/5
I've been a few times now don't know many people in there but good service and lovely meals going in more soon
Wonderful little place, we went in to the rooms which were clean and bright. The first thing we saw was a piece of paper on the bed with the address, phone numbers, food times etc and a little bit of information about the inn and village. Just from that you can see how much pride the manager has in his inn and so he should. Tea was pub food cooked with love nothing over the top but well cooked well seasoned and well presented, Staff made there self known and were polite and happy to be there even on a hot day were most would have rather been outside. Breakfast again beautifully cooked we came downstairs as early as we could and all the tables were set and we was greeted with smiles and good mornings and a pot of tea almost instantly. The guy who was in charge had an apprentice who he was wonderful with, gave him just enough help but enough space at the same time, when he was doing well you could see him beaming with pride which is rare in Yorkshire anyway. All in all a lovely stay and I can see why they named the village after the Inn.
