Polgooth Inn

The food is just delicious and views fantastic. All sauces and combination of veg and spices created and amazing tasting experience. Kids enjoyed the food having a standard adult portion. Youngest daughter stated this was the best pizza she ever had. Highly recommended.

We were in the UK from the States visiting a Friend and he brought us to this Great Restaurant. The Food was Excellent, the Service top notch and the Ambiance and Decor was Very Nice. Plenty of History on display. The Menu had something for everyone. Our Food was prepared as ordered and was perfect. The portions were ample. Aside from the Great food the History and story of the location is reason enough to visit which dates back to 1647. So if you are in the area and Like Great Food and History give them a try, you wont be disappointed!

Staff friendly & welcoming. Only had a starter of mushrooms & chips as it was lunch, but really enjoyed it. Wine is good there too. It’s worth a visit.

Our 3rd year in Polgooth and have to say the team at the Polgooth Inn are the best you can get, nothing was too much trouble even tho we had a quite reactive dog with us this year. The waiting staff noticed immediately and offered us another more suitable table in the bar, yet again the food was top class, beautifully prepared, cooked and presented in a warm welcoming atmosphere. All in all an absolutely 5 star experience. Thankyou to all concerned. We would have no problem whatsoever recommending the Polgooth Inn to one and all.

Wonderful staff, very busy. Even though it we were told there would be a half hour wait for food, it came out quicker than expected. Food was 5*, piping hot and plentiful. Will definitely be back.

Lovely place tucked away in a quiet village, food was amazing. Despite being very very busy the food was piping hot and of the best quality, and we didn't wait too long either. Highly recommended, great friendly service, well done.

Great tasting food and well presented, lovely setting and pieces of history around. Great outdoor space with some seating undercover.

Staff were lovely and welcoming, the atmosphere was really nice, pub was cosy and traditional, allowed our dogs in as well, bit pricey but food was of fantastic quality, highly recommended if you are in the area
