We had everything going for us this time. A car park with spaces, a car park machine that worked, beautiful warm sunshine and a few steps away, a friendly welcome and a front table on the Rock Inn's balcony overlooking the estuary. We had a very nice cream tea and a panini, a glass of wine and a coffee. Much nicer than fighting the hoards in Padstow. Recommended.
Lovely place, what a view! Good service and good food. Slightly overpriced but all in all good.
Lovely setting. But sadly the food was over priced and disappointing. £11 for wraps and that's all you get! Not even salad garnish or handful of crisps.
Went for lunch and a drink after a morning on the beach. Friendly staff who happily moved tables around to cater for a group of 7. Great views across the estuary towards Padstow and the surrounding countryside. Food was good and I enjoyed a local pint! Dog friendly too, which was great for us. Recommended. Wheelchair accessibility: Accessibility was fine. It's on the 1st floor but with a lift available.
Had a lovely meal here just after it had re-opened after the Coronavirus lockdown. The wife had a vegetarian Thai curry, which she said was really good. I had the Chicken pie - a puff pastry top with a good amount of large chunks of chicken in a great sauce - I think it was chicken and leek. The vegetables that were served with it were really well cooked and fresh. The chips were really good too. The other guys had scampi and chicken burgers - all of which looked really nice. I had a pint of Cornish pale ale which was very refreshing. Staff wore masks and screens had been fitted between tables, so they had obviously done some good prep work to make the place safer. All mains were about £14-£16 unless you were going for steak, etc. Highly recommend the place.
We were lucky to get a table. Thanks Jeremy. The food was to die for. Good pint of tribute. Excellent customer service. Great view across to Padstow.
Lovely, stunning a great place to spend the day when visiting padstow, a 5min ferry trip across, the water.
Sadly not a great experience. Service staff were lovely but the food unfortunately let the place down. It’s in a brilliant location in Rock, but nearly every dish we had was overcooked from the scallops, to the fish and chips, to the mussels. We also felt it was very expensive for the quality of the food appreciate prices are up at the moment but for what we paid, I would expect better. Just a shame really.
Tasty food, helpful, friendly staff with beautiful views looking out over the river. We had a range of dishes including the seafood linguini and fish and chips. The mussels and prawns were delicious! They also have a great selection of drinks including tasty cornish ales and ciders. They have a lift for disabled access which is very handy for those who can't use the stairs. Overall a lovely restaurant and would go back when in the area again.
Awesome view and lovely staff.. perfect place on a sunny day
