I took my dog for the first time a couple of days ago. He's a puppy and he had an accident in the travel carrier. The receptionist was so lovely, helped me out with cleaning his chew toy and gave me padding for the way home. The veterinarian was very nice, seemed very knowledgeable and was very good with our dog.
Great vets very friendly staff we go there for every treatment with our dog totally recommend
Staff were OK with me and my dog I just think all vets are so overpriced. If your on benefits then vet bills are paid for you but if you work, you pay. I get that the animals need looking after but if you can't afford to look after them then you shouldn't have them.
I have been with this practice for a couple of years and I can say without doubt they are brilliant. The receptionists are friendly and my dog loves them...very attentive to animals and their owners in surgery. Most of the vets are brilliant, never had a bad one! My dog Dexter loves them too. Wouldn't go anywhere else, highly recommended
Strict entry times due to covid as one would expect. Good service and care - though neither I or the dogs like the fact that owners cannot go in with their pets at this time. My dogs may well become reluctant to go to the vets, but covid is making life difficult in most areas.
Several other branches with Pet Ambulance for pets having procedures to and from the main surgery just outside of Morpeth which is now benefiting from new bypass roads. Also, many of the vets travel to branches to offer their particular services on a rotation appointment basis. All the staff are very understanding and they can be very helpful even when they are crazy busy. They accept all the normal insurers and do offer both full treatments and ongoing therapy for most types of animals from birds to horses. I don't work for them, just an appreciative client who has had an excellent experience with both my cockatoo and dog, both of them have had recurring problems.
Took an injured pigeon here which turned out to have a fractured wing. They were so kind and helpful and even x-rayed it to see if they could fix it. The vet rang me to tell me the outcome and the receptionist Lorraine was also so friendly and caring, and even offered to clean my pet holder what I took the bird in for me. Thank you so much
Good vets, recommend them to anyone they look after both our dogs
When I took my bearded dragon bk in Jan when he has eye infection the vet was brilliant and helpful. But now with the virus now they have stopped taking Exotic animals at my local branch westmoor, which has caused a problem as my bearded dragon is really ill and now I can't get any help.as I can't get to.the other branches which are to far away for me giving I don't drive. I really wish you just carryed on seeing our type of animals u got no idea how difficult it is now. I just hope my boy is ok til Saturday when another vet can see him
The reception staff are brilliant very helpful, have taken my dog there for nearly four years and most of the time I have been happy with the care, but when my dog took poorly just before xmas I was very annoyed that the vet I saw there did not examine him on the two occasions I took him to him on two consecutive days, was told by the vet two days later that blood test were negative just give him Metacam and bring him in next week if no better, two hours after speaking to him I had to rush him to the hospital at Morpeth where another vet did examine him and told me it was a slipped disc, the next day my dog had to be put to sleep he was 6 years old, now im not saying he would have lived but if it hadn't have been missed my dog certainly wouldn't have been in the pain for the five days he was, two days he saw the same vet at Westmoor and Seaton Delaval practice and it was missed, then two days later he saw the vet at Morpeth and it was picked up . I did want to make a complaint about this vet but was told not to come in, I think that was so I wouldn't kick off in recepyion..In future I would not take my pet to this vet, as an examination on the first day would have saved my dog five days of agony before he died.
