Story

We are an independent speciality coffee shop/restaurant situated in York's most elegant street. We serve Monmouth coffee, Bluebird teas and a wonderful array of home made cakes and fresh patisserie. We have an all day Brunch menu and a specials lunch menu which changes almost daily. We cook everything to order using the best quality fresh ingredients. We support local suppliers and independent producers, bakers and roasters. Our rustic modern British menu takes its inspiration from the seasons and the richness of the produce that we source with our team. We also run a small farm outside York, in which we are growing herbs, vegetables and edible flowers for the warmer months. We are also an antique, design shop, and art gallery. Much of our furniture and fittings are supplied by The French House, and everything is for sale. For a full breakdown of prices, please ask to see a brochure. We will have a revolving list of artists showing in the restaurant,. We also open Thursday, Friday and Saturday Evenings. Our menu is small and well thought, created by our talented Head Chef, James Gilroy.
