Did we make you smile? No, you did not. Only 2 staff on the floor. The whole experience took too long and most frustrating. I must say this is an unusual experience at Robert Dyas, our go to store and we know staffing is an issue everywhere, I am sure you will be able to improve matters in time.
More expensive than most places for the same items but when you need something quick they are useful. Good staff
Although I can find this shop useful it can sometimes feel like a jam packed discount store. They have a great range of home items and as there is not a DIY shop in Thame it is great that they have rollers etc for decorating. A shop worth visiting but can feel a little over crowded.
Staff are friendly and helpful, which is good because finding stuff in this store is a nightmare. It's cramped with little room to manoeuvre, especially during busier times. I would avoid it if I had a push or wheelchair. The prices are on the expensive side as well, so expect to pay a premium for the convenience of being able to buy something immediately.
This is a shop which now provides the service which used to be performed by the local ironmonger and I find it a source for a wide selection of household goods at very competitive prices. The shop in Thame is well stocked and if I have difficulty in finding a particular item I have found that the staff are very willing to help by directing me to the correct area.
Cramped, and if you have a wheelchair or even a buggy you've got no chance of manovering in and around the shop. Just to much in a little shop.. If you can get in the staff are very helpful and prices fair for what you get.
Not a reflection on this particular store, but how employees are treated by the powers above. Staff are expected to offer products at the tills to up sell as well as offer a leaflet asking to leave a review, and ask customers for postcodes, those at head office clearly have no idea what its like working in a store. customers come in to shop, not get asked various questions at the tills, it is very of putting, and ive never known a shop ask for postcodes before! Staff have had a lot on their plate, what with working throughout the pandemic even though everyone knows that robert dyas wasnt an essential store during the lockdown. All this while earning the absolute minumum the goverment will allow. If the company could pay less, they absolutely would. Its sad that the government has had to implement the national living wage because greedy businesses don't value their staff enough to pay them a decent wage. Theo Pathitis should be ashamed of himself. From what ive heard, it isn't a good place to work, staff have lost faith in the powers above and during this pandemic they certainly have shown their true colours. Profit before employee's health and wellbeing.
One of the best shops in Thame and an asset to the town. Sells essential items that we need. Staff always friendly and helpful.
Great shop. They don’t always have what you want but have 90% of it. Great staff. Very helpful. Seems to be always open.
I purchased a Dash cam recently and had difficulty in changing the default date to the current date. I received the help I needed along with polite and courteous assistance, thank you!
