So I was kind of nervous about using this service having heard the reviews...but I did and am so glad I did. I booked them from our car parking space to Gatwick airport and for the return journey too. Both times the drivers were early or on time, polite, helpful. The cars were clean and well driven. I'd definitely use them again
We booked a taxi for 11pm and we took a call at 10.30 which the person didn’t speak and we then called roadrunners to explain we have received a call from the driver half an hour early and picked up and they didn’t speak on the phone. They did not give an explanation, we then waited in the late November cold for 40 mins before the next taxi arrived at a different location as requested that we had to walk to.
Absolutely atrocious. Tried to book before and never turned up. The other local firm had no availability so tried them again with a pre booking earlier in day as had a restaurant reservation. 5 minutes after the time I contacted them to be told a car wasn't available so they'd found one over 10 minutes away. How can you accept a pre booking when you don't have a car available?! Fortunately managed to get an uber which turned up within 3 minutes which got us to the reservation just on time. No thanks to Roadrunners. Useless.
Rubbish. Terrible phone service. They never have taxis in Horley in the evening, telling me to call back later I’m trying to book 1 hour in advance. Why would you ask me to call back 30 mins later?. Operator doesn’t seem to understand plain English, or to explain whether they will be able to provide a taxi.
Prebooked taxi via app for early morning pickup to airport. Didn't show. Rang and was told new driver would be 10 mins , gave up after another 20 mins.
Car arrived promptly and was clean and tidy. Driver was helpful and courteous and the fare reasonable. All in all a very good service

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I booked a taxi 3 and a half hours in advance to enable me to get to work. I am currently on crutches and unable to stand for long periods of time or walk for long periods because I am in immense pain with a broken ankle. Despite booking the taxi 3 and a half hours in advance, they were incredibly late. I was late to work because the taxi drivers "DIDN'T WANT TO LEAVE GATWICK" that's what I was told on the phone by an operator, i appreciated her honesty, but it didnt change the fact that I was waiting outside for so long on crutches. I was stood outside waiting for over 40 minutes, I was on the brink of tears before the taxi arrived due to the pain of having to stand for that long. I repeat. Do not use this company. They are a waste of money and time.
Ordered a taxi at 04:30am for a Gatwick North collection & a trip under 1 mile and accepted it would be 30mins. Called after 60 minutes when the taxi still hadn’t arrived to be told it was on its way. Even 15 minutes later on still no show or communication. Ridiculously poor service and communication. Wont be recommending or trying theses again! Utterly frustrated as believed & respected it would not be instant while seeing booked taxis come and go! Not a way to run a customer service!
Ordered a taxi at 00:30 for a trip under 1 mile and accepted it would be £10 but told it was on its way. Called again 30 minutes later when the taxi still hadn’t arrived to be told it was 5 minutes away…called again 15 minutes later to be told it was 5 minutes away…called again 10 minutes later to be told it was 2 minutes away. Called once more after waiting an hour to be told it was 8-9 minutes away. Ridiculously poor service, no apparent control over drivers and arrival times and complete incompetence to service even an extremely local journey. I’d suggest looking elsewhere if there’s any urgency on arriving at your required destination within a reasonable timeframe.
