Beautiful individual chalets, close to the beach, lots with a sea view. Many chalets are dog friendly, and the beach is dog friendly all year except July and August. There are lots of play areas dotted around the site and it is really well cared for. Make sure you check chalet descriptions if you have any problems with steps - some are on flat ground, others are on slopes. My favourite place to visit! Playground: From sandpits to climbing frames, there are several well maintained play areas around the site. Dog-friendliness: Lots of chalets are dog friendly, and the beach is fabulous for dogs to play. During July and August the beach is not dog friendly during the day, but there is another big beach across the estuary that is dog friendly all year.
Beautiful area for a holiday. The joy of Cornwall laid bare in beaches, countryside and its people. Just like us south walians the cornish folk put up with us visitors until the seasons end. Towans chalets are a central area to base yourselves. The chalet posted here was quite basic. But it suited my needs. It was comfortable and had all that I needed for my stay. Towans is well placed for a short coastal walk in either direction along the coast for new delights, St Ives is visable across the estuary. Or there is a rail service from St Austell to take you further afield. Love love love this part of our British Isle Playground: The beach at tTowans is clean. The sea is the bluest of blue. On site there is a play ground, but with beaches such this why would you? Restrooms: There are public toilets on the site, which are well maintained and clean Dog-friendliness: The area is dog friendly, not sure if there is a possibility of seasonal restrictions on the beaches though Picnic area: Large area on site for picnics
A daily visit of memory lane. But what I saw is that the place looks wonderful and the beach is just off the sand walk from the site

Best place to bring your children or Grandchildren. 3 miles of sandy beach and Chalets that accommodate small or large families.
I'm not sure it's a good idea me sharing my wonderful experience of this lovely place at Tom's Holidays because it may make it more difficult for me to book in future. We come here every year, sometimes twice per year... Great value, individual chalets, great views, plenty of good walks and a fab beach. What more does one need from a Cornish holiday?
Lovely little holiday camp. Close to the beach and to Hayle so it's great for a week's stay away. My two gripes were that our cabin was on a meter that required £1 coins to keep the electric on, and that the cabins don't have recycling boxes to help carry stuff to the central bins.
