Lovely and peaceful. There's plenty of tarmac paths & raised walkways as well as big grassy bits and muddier paths if that's what you're after. Perfect for dogs.

This area is a very nice place for walking. There is a variety of paths for people to explore. The council has done a lot of work planting lots of new trees. Something to look forward to in the future. At the moment you cannot walk along the canal as the council are renewing the path. There has also been reinforcement of the canal bank. Very important for the future of the canal walk.
Great place to go for a relaxing walk to get away from it all. Plenty of places to explore, or just walk along the canal to get to get to fosse park or town instead of taking the car or public transport. Liable to flooding though in rainy seasons.
a park kept at its very natural shape, very good to roam around at summer time. but be careful as the area is big and can be get lost in narrow pathways.
