Very interesting experience, that centres around great food sourced locally, even ground on the farm. It's social as benches of 6 or 8 ensure you mix with other punters. The food is amazing and plentiful, and mainly centres around the varied ways of serving vegetables. Different menus on different days, such as fish Friday or veggie Monday. Recommended this for an interesting experience.

The Riverford Farm Kitchen is a wonderful, communal dining experience for any lover of delicious, fresh, organic produce. Almost every ingredient is sourced either from the farm itself, or from the surrounding pastures. The Hasselback potatoes were fantastic and a spicy dish of thinly sliced, layered, crunchy cauliflower was a revelation. A choice of about 6 desserts was also offered at the end, which were equally fresh and fab. Imagine the world's chicest, healthiest, most eco-friendly school canteen, and you'll be close to the mark. Great day out for a big group of family and/or friends.

Best restaurant experience I have had in England in the last 8 years. We went there for the second time in a year and I was a bit nervous fearing that the quality might have dropped but it had not! In fact it was even better than our first time. Interesting combinations of food, amazing vegetables and delicious desserts.

I have no idea why we hadn't been here before... but possibly the most wonderful of experiences. Great food, great service and wonderful company

Fab food every time I've visited! My Italian friend ate the best food she has had in the UK since moving here 10 yrs ago. Shame to finish up with that coffee though - improving that would be so easy.
