Went in the restaurant for lunch.nFood and drinks section needs changing. Take too long to make the drinks after you've already got the hot food and it's getting cold, time you sit down.nOne of the saucers we were given with our tea was chipped, so we asked for another. The lady serving us, said nothing but gave us a scouring look and practically threw another saucer at us.nFood quality was average.nLove visiting the Abbey, which is beautiful but maybe next time, try an alternative venue for a cuppa and refreshments.

My latest chai latte! After visiting the rest of the site, we popped into here for a drink. Didn't have a meal but food selection looked good. I was delighted to see there was a chai latte on the drinks menu and my sister in law also decided to try one, seeing they are my hot drink of choice. We all enjoyed our drinks, in peaceful surroundings.

I should have remembered last year when we went here I had to ask for my coffee heating up. They serve it luke warm. I didn't ask this time as I think I upset someone hence scorching hot coffee. £5 for a sausage roll. Won't be back

When out cycling I usually look for quaint cafes to stop for a coffee and a cake, but on this occasion, I met my family and sat with an amazing view of the Abbey while we enjoyed some of the most amazing cakes I've had in a while along with a very nice coffee.nnI had a honeycomb brownie and took a salted caramel flapjack with me for my ride, which was one of the best flapjacks I've ever had!

Lovely restaurant, good food and the premises are amazing. Lovely afternoon out. Visit the grounds and restaurant . Highly recommended.
