A handsome pub in a brilliant village, when we visited it was full of friendly locals and others from further afield like us, all the way from Plymouth ; The views over the river and fields were stunning, with a good choice of ciders and spirits and beers and ales but they're not my thing. We walked there from the nearby Lower Marsh Farm, which was a fantastic route : Child and dog friendly. On my list of pubs to return to.
Nice friendly local pub with nice outside seating too. Very welcoming landlord and decent beers. Nice to pop into for a pint on my way back from the yacht club. Think they do pizzas on a Friday night.

The best local I have ever been to. Friendly staff make every visit feel like a catch up with friends. Great rotational ale on tap and pizza nights with Windwood every Friday are not to be missed. Lovely pub
