Eliot Arms
"Quite possibly the best pub in Cornwall - well, we think so!With a great selection of ales, a well stocked bar, home reared meats on the menu and an old style pub feel, we pride ourselves on creating a great atmosphere and warm welcome for our visitors - old and new.The Eliot Arms is owned and run by The Port Eliot Estate, and retains all the charm of a bygone era.The food is simple, but delicious - all made from scratch from ingredients grown and reared by the owners on the Estate.Newly refurbished bedrooms make for a very clean and comfortable stay, whether you need a base to explore south east Cornwall or just fancy a break from the fast pace of life, the Eliot Arms is the ideal choice."

We went for an open mic evening and we had a nice pizza from a van outside very welcoming pub and the dog's pub is adorable . The staff is very friendly, the music brilliant, a lot of people played the piano and lovely songs.
Had our annual works do here. Food was very tasty, friendly, accommodating & helpful service. Good band, good selection of drinks, clean room, all positive. Recommend to anyone.
Went last week for roast. Nice place and food good. Landlord nice enough. Only downside was tall loud eccentric chap who shouts and swears with kids in earshot. Shame as was very off putting.
Came here to play at their openmic running fortnightly Wednesdays to my knowledge at the time Beautiful venue, very welcoming atmosphere, I certainly enjoyed myself, very nice selection of drinks to suit most palletes. Definitely worth popping in if you're passing by, free car park on site, thank you for reading!
Very disappointed! The portions very small, one carrot, one roast potato, one floret of cauliflower cheese, the smallest yorkshire pudding I have ever seen. It was nothing like the photograph advertised. Will not be returning. We are traveling back to lincolnshire tomorrow so haven't got time to pop back for a refund in person.
As soon as we arrived in St Germans we called in and were made very welcome, a nice pint, friendly staff and lovely pub
Great time watching the football, great beer, great gin, great staff and a great atmosphere. Really recommend this pub. Plus they love dogs, really are the definition of a top notch country pub.
A lovely olde worlde pub. They put on loads of events such as quizzes and live music. Lovely helpful lass behind the bar and good landlord too. Hope to visit again
Great local pub with well conditioned Ale. Lovely place to drink and meet up with friends
This is a very tired pub. We stayed there this weekend for a wedding and to our surprise there was no facility for breakfast, this being the first issue. The second being that we had to share a bathroom with another couple both separate families consisted of groomsmen which we were again shocked to hear, considering the price we paid. Very quickly, in said bathroom, the light stopped working, there was no window and so was pitch black, and then there was no hot water for the shower not great when getting ready for a wedding! Other showers throughout the pub were either not working, we’re freezing cold or boiling hot. Overall, the towels provided stank of stale smoke and some were mouldy, I also found some plastic Childrens toys under the bed not very COVID secure. At times the staff were helpful, but overall staying here was not a pleasant/relaxing experience.
