Came in on a quiet evening after they'd stopped serving food. Stopped in for a pint and they were nice enough to heat up some stew for us. Very friendly owners and nice atmosphere. Not sure about the country theme but it's executed as well as it can be. Restored my father's faith in pubs. Would definitely come again next time I'm in Herne village.

Wow! Had take away Pigeon breast and rack of robs with a couple of sides, this was simply above restaurant grade!! Plus great selection of drinks and the staff are so friendly!! 110% recommend for either food or a casual drink! Amazing pub, by far the best in Herne bay!

Lovely little pub/restaurant and the most incredible tasting food. Brisket quesadillas were amazing and the potato wedges were the best I have ever tasted. The barmaid/waitress was very helpful and friendly. Would love to come back in the future!

Nicest tastiest meat they smoke it meals you can't fault it

Had Sunday lunch here today and it was so delicious , despite being really busy  which was great to see the service was great , very nice staff . Bumped into a couple of old friends which made the afternoon really special . Thank you We will be returning

New Management is so welcoming and down to earth, food is proper stodgy flavoured food, cooked so well, lovely local atmosphere, good beers and ciders.

New landlords are 100% what the British pub industry is lacking so badly - a real credit. I felt like I was a guest and they were my hosts. Six stars out of five.

Under new management. Friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. Roast was 10/10 highly recommended.
