Richmond Retirement Village is set in a well spaced development with separate blocks of three storey buildings housing one and two-bedroom apartments. There are plenty of planted and open areas connected by well maintained paths and paved areas.nThe apartments are well fitted out and the residents supported by professional staff offering varying levels of assistance as required. There is a warm and friendly atmosphere.
My mother has been with Richmond Northampton since last May in an Assisted Living Apartment. We are very happy with the facilities, care and general wellbeing of the Village.nThe ladies on Reception always remember who we are with a smile and a little story, the coffee lounge is a useful and pleasant place to be, the hairdresser is a very lovely lady and takes great care of my mums needs.nSpecial praise has to go to The Domiciliary Care team led by the very capable and lovely Rachel, but everyone is so caring that it would be impossible to name them all. All mums cleaning, food, and laundry is taken care of, we can visit, and take mum out whenever we please, even book ourselves in to share a meal at the lovely restaurant if we wish.nAll in all I can definitely say The Richmond Village Team are doing a great job.nI wish I could bake them a cake everytime we visited.
We have been here in an independent living unit ILU for just over six months. It was a big move after 47 years in our previous home. I can honestly say my wife and I have no regrets. All staff members are excellent, friendly, cheerful and helpful. We have found many interesting activities and excursions in which we have participated. The grounds are very well maintained by two talented gardeners. So, all in all, I would highly recommend Richmond Village to anyone interested.
We visited the park on a Try Before you Buy basis and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Whilst we were there we looked around several properties before deciding on one that we immediately fell in love with. We had tremendous help and guidance from Zena Williamson Senior Village Adviser, who was and has been very helpfull during the whole process. We cannot thank her enough for all her help and assistance.
Experienced a tour of the facilities and 2 apartments on Thursday last week. We were treated to a fantastic lunch in the restaurant before being showed around by Zena. Super tour, excellent food, wonderful host. Very useful in helping us out with options for my mother-in-law and disabled brother-in-law going forwards. Thanks Northampton team
