Our experience of Richer Sounds was a really positive experience. The products are of exceptional quality and the staff are knowledgeable with a friendly, helpful and efficient manner. They will happily give you advice on all their products, and offer you a price match (mostly though, they easily rival other companies on pricing capability). We particularly found 'Dave' (staff at Richer Sounds) to be incredibly in-the-know, apropos to everything in the shop, he easily and expertly answered all questions put to him. The equipment they stock is of the highest quality and spec, with a competitive pricing system in place. The shop is easy to navigate, with a sound room to the left hand side. This has a great set up, giving the buyer a great deal of ideas on how to build their own sound system/surround at home/events etc. They cater for all range of budgets too, from exiguous to £££'s! Well recommended and well worth a look.

I understood that Richer Sounds had a reputation for good customer services however this was certainly not my experience. We bought a £500 LCD television from them in the sale and then when it was delivered stored it in a safe place until work on our house was finished. Upon unpacking and turning on the television that TV display was cracked. Richer Sounds customer service were frankly rude and implied that I had damaged the TV myself even though I sent them pictures which clearly showed the protective wrapping still on the TV. Moreover the record from their courier documented that the box was damaged upon receipt. We were not called back when it was promised that we would be and their team were exceptionally arrogant and smug. In future I will take my business to John Lewis!

I've always been impressed with the service at Richer Sounds in other parts of the country, and the Plymouth branch is no different. They're incredibly knowledgeable, honest about product limitations without being negative, helpful without being pushy, and nothing was too much trouble.
I'd definitely recommend Richer Sounds to anyone looking to purchase the kind of products they sell. It may be cheaper to buy online but RS is still excellent value and you get the wealth of knowledge and personal touch.

A very good shop for hi-fi and viewing equipment. Have bought several items. All at competitive prices and services provided are a very high standard.  Would recommend highly.
