Very friendly hotel. Room was clean and comfortable. Food was great, not gourmet quality but good home cooked meals and the portions were huge. Gammon steak at dinner covered the dinner plate, fabulous. English breakfast was equally as impressive. Will stay again later in the year.

Haven't stayed here overnight, just popped in a few times for a beer and some food. Friendly staff, good beer and great pub grub. The bar was propped up by mainly locals but they all seemed friendly enough. This village is heavily associated with horse racing so you will see plenty of relevance to this in the decor.

A fantastic pub with lovely staff! Had a delicious meal here and it's really nice to see pubs like this thriving! A brilliant atmosphere with lots of horse racing hmemorabilia floating around! Lovely to see even if you're not into horses!

Amazing service, they were very friendly and could not do more for you. The food was superb; large portions of a very high standard.
