Rhyl Create is a volunteer based Social Enterprise Non Profit Organisation based in Rhyl. We showcase talented artists & crafters across North Wales...
Rhylcreate was established as a not for profit company limited by guarantee in 2007. Three local artists started the business some years earlier to provide a vehicle for selling locally produced work and support the regeneration of Rhyl. Initially the group attended craft fairs and also sold their work on market stalls. In 2009, Gallery 36 was opened in Kinmel Street. The Gallery remained open until February 2012. With funding assistance from WINSENT, Rhylcreate moved to the existing unit in the White Rose Centre in March 2012.
In November 2013, Rhylcreate is being relaunched with positive new branding and a stronger social mission. We believe that art can positively influence the local community. Be inspired by viewing our current member's profiles!
Rhylcreate provides an opportunity for local artists to sustain themselves in self employment by offering a venue to display and sell their work. In addition, Rhylcreate delivers workshops and specific projects aimed at achieving positive results whether enabling individuals to become involved in art and craft for the first time or contributing to the health and mental wellbeing of vulnerable groups.
We believe that Rhlycreate can play a valuable role in the community. Help us achieve our mission.......

Here at Rhylcreate we believe that:
art should be accessible to all; everyone has a creative side
art can have a positive impact on a community contributing to regeneration and changing people’s lives
Rhylcreate is a membership organisation with currently more than 30 members. Artists and Crafters can apply to become a member by going through a selection procedure based on artistic quality, market demand and sale-ability. Once accepted, they can have their work on display in the gallery and in organised exhibitions.
The development of Rhylcreate depends on partnership working and building solid relationships with its members and local organisations that want to make a difference. Rhylcreate is interested in the positive impact art can have on a community and pursues projects that clearly demonstrate this.
Recently, Rhylcreate won a prestigious ‘Arts & Business’ award working in partnership with HSBC bank to decorate empty shop windows in Rhyl to attract businesses into the town centre.
