I can't remember the last time I enjoyed an afternoon tea as much. It was an afternoon tea with a twist as the food wasn't your standard tea. We had some sort of mini burgers with loaded fries and a few other chicken and cheesy bites. The atmosphere was quiet given that it was a weekday and afternoon, but it was just what my friend and I wanted. Amazing service from Luke, whom I believe to be from management. Booked through a virgin experience voucher, and it felt like a gift that just kept giving. Don't get me started with the dessert - huge portions and really tasty. I'm never going elsewhere for afternoon tea again as nothing will top my experience here. Thank you, Luke, for looking after us.
I booked a Hen Party at Revolution Bar Hockley Nottingham for 16 Ladies 29/06/24. Molly Ingle was amazing and made sure all of our requirements were met on the day. The Food was Fabulous and so filling a lot of the Ladies didn’t manage the puddings. I for one managed all 3 dishes and was excellent value for money. The Staff were all very accommodating and fun and the atmosphere was incredible. The Hen absolutely loved the day especially the Confetti. Would recommend 100%
The shots here are pretty nice. They’ve got a great variety and because all the names don’t always tell you what the flavour is, it makes for fun experimentations. But even uncanny flavours are usually pretty nice and not bland. The staff is very friendly and happy to help. The food is also pretty good. It’s quite standard pub foods but you’ve got some lovely flavours when it comes to the dough balls, the plant based chicken strip and I’m not even vegetarian!, the onion rings and jalapeño poppers. I was a bit disappointed with the veggie cheese burger sliders as well as the Mac and cheese. The first one were quite dry and the second was very bland. Other than that, nice location, open space and pleasant! Vegetarian options: Quite a nice range of vegetarian options that have a lot of flavour.
I went to Revolution with a group of work colleagues last Friday for drinks. We were surprised to see that Happy Hour was on 21:00 much later than other bars so we made the most of this! Staff were very friendly, and there's a huge variety of drinks alcoholic and non alcoholic, so everyone is catered for. Service did seem a little slow even when it was fairly quiet for a Friday night but the drinks were superb. Plenty of spaces to sit, and they also came around with shots for the table which was great fun. Bouncers were also present on the door after 21:00, so it does feel very safe.
Me and my friends went over the weekend. And I love shots. So we bought loads and they were great. Friends loved them too. Staff were really nice at selecting shots for us too. We will def be back!Service: 5/5
Came here yesterday for afternoon tea with a Revs twist and had a great time. The food and cocktails were good and the staff were great. We brought my 10 year old granddaughter along so obviously she couldn't have a cocktail which was part of the deal. The bar staff made her a huge strawberry slush decorated with strawberries and mint. Here face was a picture when she saw it. Thank you
Had afternoon tea with my partner here on the weekend. Never been to afternoon tea before and tbh we were both expecting sandwiches and little cakes etc but it was hot food which was good because the weather was horrible. Our afternoon tea came with cocktails, we were allowed to order any with the red heart, we both chose zombies. The first course we had sliders, corns dogs, chicken strips and loaded fries. The food was really hot which was a pleasant surprise. We thought that was it but then outcome desert. The dessert was brownies, cookie dough and these passion fruit cheesecakes. Now I'm giving 4 stars solely based on the dessert. The staff and service were fantastic, but the passion fruit cheesecakes were disgusting. 1 why were they so sour? Passion fruit is mean to be sweet 2 they had curdled. Yuck! But apart from that I do recommend the the afternoon tea.
We frequently pop into revs for a quick lunch and a drink or two . This was the second one we went in after being told the other nottingham one was full until 7pm .. it was around 1.30. We walked into this one and again most of the tables were already pre booked .. we managed to find a table only to be told it was only burgers and sandwiches on the menu for walk-ins. We 2 children ls burgers and a full size one ... in the picture is one of each, how is the £6 difference justified. Oh and only one thing vegetarian to choose for my niece was not ideal.

We came in yesterday for my hen party with 18 people for bottomless brunch. Our server Sofia was so accommodating and helpful and dealt with us fantastically which isn’t easy with so many people. Everyone was happy and enjoyed the time. Thank you for kicking my hen party off to a great start. We all had the best nightFood: 5/5
