I'm impressed, what can I say. The range of local high quality products at this shop is amazing. The items are unique from authentic Scottish produce to clothing to Italian pasta, there is something different and special for everyone. I certainly wasn't expecting this shop to be as big and as extensive whilst also being top quality at the same time. The prices are high and reflect appropriately the quality of the items. It deserves 5 stars and I definitely recommend you visit if you are around or looking for that extra special gift.
My husband and I were at the coffee shop today. We ordered 2 extra hot lattes ,cake and a liver cake for the dog which was dry and out of date today .. I had to gonback as the lattes were look warm i asked if she would put hot milk in but she poured them down the sink then flung the cups in the sink in anger . i think she was a manager then another member of staff just gave me a horrible look . I felt embarrassed. I asked for them extra hot after all I am paying for it and keeping them in a job . I was made to feel uncomfortable snd there was not a smile or an apology .
It's a nice shop that has almost everything toys, souvenirs, Christmas decor, alcohol and food. Everyone will find something for themselves !
The restoration yard is open. We were so happy to find out that it was again open. This place is lovely, the food is take away style for now. I attached a photo of the menu. The buildings and the park are stunning. It’s a family friendly option we everything you need to spend a great afternoon. On the sunny day you can enjoy a nice walk, there are tables all around the restoration yard. The coffee taste great and in eco friendly vegware packaging . We will definitely come back again and again.
Not great for food,tried the Kitchen but were told to come back in 45 minutes which didn't suit us.It was quiet but apparently not enough staff.We have tried. several times to eat here but each time there has been a problem, disappointing.nWent to the coffee shop opposite, very busy but very slow service, staff disinterested, expensive too.Could do with a good well run place to eat here
