Fab place to take children. Lovely food if buying, plenty of spaces for picnics, adventure playground well worth the entry fee and clean toilets. Love the fact that adventure playground entry numbers are restricted which ensures it is safe and enjoyable for all ages of children.
Great place, loved everything, but please re-consider the design of your bike parking area. The currently available “log” isn’t really convenient since most locks won’t be able to reach the frame. Two people parking from the sides won’t have much of an issue, but the ones in the middle will have to put the bike above the log like I did.
Was here yesterday with my son and wife. Arrived at 2pm. Drove down to the bottom car park, and there were men working there digging the garden. One on particular who had a beard and big muscles made my partner feel very uncomfortable with the loos and winks he gave her. Very disappointed when I come here for relaxation and pay a fortune for the food. Please speak to your gardeners and ask them not to make customers feel uncomfortable.
Beautiful grounds, great nature walks playground and riverside forest walks.nMarkets, converts and outdoor cinema, and many other events are held here .
£3 to park with very little to offer unless you are going to Go Ape. There was a wedding there on the day we went and a large section was taped off for the wedding and Go Ape took up a large area.
