My time at Basepoint Haywards Heath must be one of the worst experience in my entire life. I chose one of the downstairs larger units, monthly rent was over £1500 a month. Mid way through my contract they decided to change policies on their car park making you pay for parking and for customer parking. They also charged me for utilities on top of me my extortionate rent fee. The cleaning was awful. Mouldy milk was left spilled over in the fridge, this wasn’t cleaned for months stank. Bins were not taken out over the weekend so it starting rotting which clients had to see and smell. Vending machine was constantly empty as well as the coffee machine being out of order for the whole time i was there. Vegetation around the building was not cut back for months because management could not be bothered to sort it - quite embarrassing when clients had to jump over over grown branches just to get to my office doors. I caught staff sleeping at the reception on multiple occasions, which clients had to witness - no wonder nothing gets done. This centre is run awfully by management. They always had an attitude and really were horrible people to encounter. Especially Nikki and Cecilla were both awful employees and should be sacked with immediate effect. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Hopefully you read this before you consider signing a contract - it will save you from the worst decision of your life. Please read other reviews on basepoints around the uk, you will see i am not the only one with a negative experience! I am now at ‘SPACES’ in haywards heath and what an amazing office space they have, short term contracts and it’s located on the high street! Definitely check them out if you’re looking for office space locally.
