Cannot fault Regginas, even if I wanted to! Welcomed warmly, nice friendly and helpful staff and the food was fantastic. Great portion sizes, perfectly cooked and presented with a nice gap between courses without feeling you're waiting too long. The restaurant as a whole is small enough to feel intimate yet feels big enough not to feel cramped Was my first visit but definitely not my last
I feel the place is going slow. I've been to some other Italian restaurants but serving dishes is much slower than other places according to my experience. Pizzas were fine. Not sure that the pastas making you full. They were able to serve only 3 types of dessert I don't like those. Webpage is telling you 10% service charge which they really do. Toilets are nice but very cold. The space/room in the restaurant is a bit tight. Wish we could get our table upstairs where less people are.
Good all round food, with friendly and attentive staff. Portion sizes for the mains lobster tagliatelle and pork belly and desserts tiramisu and almond and raspberry tart were good, though the starters hallomi wrapped in parma ham and two slices of pork belly with blood pudding crumbs were a little disappointing for their price of £10.95, when some mains were only a few pounds extra. In addition, as a minor niggle the two starters were ordered off the specials, which were listed to us without a price, so we were a little blindsided by their cost though we could have asked so an equal oversight on our part. That said, an overall pleasant dinner out with tasty food, so we would visit again.
Small difficulties to find main entrance, locate on a side of building. Food was delightful & cocktails were excellent. Happy to recommend. Parking: Parking just behind a building
Amazing place for a date. Food is really so tasty, and look gorgeous. The best scallops ever. Risotto so smooth, and delicious. Highly recommended.Food: 5/5
This place was great. I had a lovely evening with a friend from work as we were trying to figure out ways we could improve our own restaurant. The service, food and atmosphere was so good. Definitely helped us.
The staff were all very professional , Polite and friendly. The building itself is old with exposed beams and a lovely place to be while eating. The food itself is well presented without being those pathetic portions you get in a snobby restaurant it is also very nice to eat. All in all a nice friendly atmosphere and good food gives Regina's Italian a 5 stars for me its always booked up so try and book a good two weeks in advance to avoid not getting a table.
My friends and I went to Regginas for dinner after recently all having our second babies. The service we received was excellent throughout our visit and the staff were very attentive without being intrusive. My friend was going to bring her baby along and the team were very accommodating to support this request. We all had different dishes, one Vegan and Gluten Free and all agreed that the food was outstanding! Will definitely come back soon! Vegetarian options: The Vegan and Gluten Free menu had a great selection and almost all options had a GF version Kid-friendliness: The staff were so helpful to accommodate for my friends pushchair for her newborn baby
Always a great night out with freinds. Amazing food, great service from the ladys and cosy venue! I recommend the 'Meat plank' and the 'Carbonara' Vegetarian options: Lots of options Parking: Decent space at the rear
