We booked in advance as we have got a big group. The location is easy to find with a pay car park nearby. The atmosphere in the restaurant was great and food were delicious beside the lamb dish which tasted like mushy lamb meat. Good selection of tapas. Overall it was a good experience.
It’s been a while since I was last here but forgot to give it a review… …Just opposite the Red Funnel Ferry terminal is this fantastic place for a drink outside in the sun and for a continental style meal. I had the best tasting garlic bread in four slices placed in a woven mini basket I then had a delicious salad style dish as a main and a San Miguel beer. It’s a popular place for dining in and catches the sun during the day outside for a cool drink. Plenty of seating four to a table or two with upper seating tables too. I will definitely go again and recommend it for impromptu visit or a booking.
Overrated food and very overpriced for such tiny portion, cold and basically rude service too. There's definitely better Spanish tapas in the UK than this, one is near enough in Bournemouth, for the same price but the portion at least is normal and taste heaps better! So I know this is not the standard for tapas in the UK, this is purely just overpriced for food doesn't even taste good or authentic. If food is good and worth it then I don't really care about how the staff are like, but in this case when food is bland, but the service from the staff is even worse like they are mad at us or something.. Never coming back again.
We’ve been to this restaurant twice now and love it. Situated on the waterfront, opposite the Town Quay in a lovely old building. It seems very popular and has been full on both occasions we have visited. Booking is advisable. The interior is tastefully decorated with lots of period features. There is an upstairs balcony section but sitting downstairs you have double height to the ceiling. Good tapas menu but we chose Paella for two. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and a couple of San Miguels washed it down nicely. Will definitely go again.
Impeccable food, service and experience. The staff gave good advice on wine ordering and offered free taste. We will definitely visit again and again!
We went back after 5 years since las time we’ve been there and what we’ve found was the restaurant under new ownership and that the food was lovely and the people very nice and very helpful. I like that Spanish atmosphere in the middle of Southampton.5 definitely and for sure we won’t wait another 5 years to go back.
Very friendly and authentic restaurant. Wonderful range of tapas. An unexpected pleasure hiding in an unexpected location. Parking: Gloucester Square car park is just 2 mins walk away.
Outstanding food and very good wine. Truly excellent. A must for Southampton. We had tapas to share. Fast, attentive and polite service. Slightly upmarket with very good value for money. Would return with pleasure.
It was a random lunch date. The staff were welcoming. The food was lovely. We will definitely go again.Food: 5/5
