Fun fun crowd mix with all ages and ethnicity unlike Boston cute crowd wed. M bartender are greats This is very respectful establishment for all types of people and genders and pronouns no or harass and or bullies anyone . Never seen anyone star or treat people disrespect I’ve yet find any one fight here . Drinks here are an exception and low costs and taste great when seasonal drinks around . Not yet come by fri sat night but so far wed. Wednesday crowd is small intimate and friendly. I always feel safe here being alone or with friends . AND you can order food here to be ordered is big bud plus for me well worth tipping not many places let you do that on a low crowd night when it’s snowing out
Got a tab on my card, I tried getting it back at the end of the night and they said they didn’t have any tab for me, so I go looking everywhere for this card and can’t find it anywhere. I leave and an hour later I get a charge of $600 for this bar?! I order 2 rounds of shots and a couple drinks for myself NO WAY! It was 600 and if they didn’t have my card how on earth were they able to charge $600 on it an hour after I left?? They could tell I had drank a lot and were taking advantage of me! luckily I was able to report the card stolen but I’d be careful going here and drinking too much they will try and take advantage. I will never ever go again ! Better off going to providence
This place is great fun on a Wednesday night. The bartenders are amazing and talented as well!
What can I say about my night last night.... worst service ever. I had a great time dancing though. I order two drinks at the beginning of the night. The bartender Matt made one drink handed it to me and took my tender. When I corrected him he made the second drink and threw the first one away on me. Then I corrected him again, he made the other drink again then charged me twice for the one he threw out. Later in the night I was dancing and my keys fell out of my pocket. I was frantic, I let the DJ know to see if he could maybe make and announcement he had made similar announcements earlier on for other people's wallets etc. No such announcement for me. Then when I mentioned it to another patron, they were nice enough to inform me that they brought my keys to the bar. I was so grateful to this person probably the only person that showed an ounce of compassion all night. I proceeded to the bar to get my keys, the barman stone face looked at me and said "I don't know a f-ing thing" and walked away. Luckily one of the other bartenders heard me and was "nice" enough to grab them for me from the backroom behind the bar. I say "nice" because the attitude received was cold and heartless. Word of advice, if you aren't some hot young 20something with a 2 inch waist avoid this place because you will get treated the way I did. I've been coming to the MB for a few years now and each time I get this odious feeling that I'm being judged in ways I don't really know and last night on their busiest night of the year I found out people's true colors. Y'all wonder why people go out to other cities. The gay community around here isn't a community at all, it's a popularity contest and only the young and gorgeous get top rank.
Never had a great experience here. Sadly this is the best Worcester has to offer. Bartenders are unskilled, and haven't gotten a proper drink yet. Friday night is the only saving grace in this place. Its clean but extremely dated decor,,looks like a bad 80's movie threw up in there and these were the remains. Bartenders leave little to be desired as they talk with who they want and ignore the rest. Its a shame, could be a nice spot, but really just a dark, hole in the wall.
I'm not generally big on gay bars or clubs - they tend not to be awfully welcoming places for the unfabulous. This place is an exception, perhaps because it is the only one in Worcester, they make an effort to ensure everyone feels welcome. On the night of our visit, we got a chance to chat with an extraordinarily handsome older bartender Derek, who gave us the lowdown. Don't expect any craft cocktails, although they do carry some local brews on tap from Wormtown. Great mix of people from all ages and backgrounds, something I don't get to see a lot in Boston. We left before the DJ got started so we didn't find the music oppressive, just a bit of noise on the jukebox.
So I went there for Kareoke night on a Wednesday. I really had fun singing. I ordered a whiskey sour to drink. It was okay but I have had better ones at other bars. It cost $8 per drink. Tiny bit steep on drink prices. The barbtender could be a little quicker to follow up. Overall, an okay place. Wednesday Kareoke was fun! Free parking across the street.
Great drinks for the money. Small place and not a bad atmosphere. I was on 6 people there. Not sure if it gets busier, but not really sure I will find out.
Great drinks at a good price and friendly bartenders! Good atmosphere too. Wednesday nights they have Karaoke, which is always a blast! Friday nights are also fun!
Love the place!!! First gay bar that I went to. and The staff and patrons are great. Plus lots of theme nights and they are active in the LGBT community.
