On first week of September 2017, I visited this shop to change one of the bulbs for my car. As the light was yellow, I asked him to change both bulbs to a different bulbs. The other bulb was in a fully working condition. So the man with a beard came in and changed both, I expected him to give me back the one of the good bulbs which cost £14. I went to the till and paid the money and asked for my old bulb, he suddenly said, ohh I have put both the bulbs in the bin! I asked him, you know only one bulb is faulty and the other one is in working condition and I want it back as it’s mine! He said ohh I just put it in bin!😡😡😡 How awful it is! If he wants that bulb I should have given to him! Instead he said he put it in bin! How ridiculous! Is it the first time he has chaged a bulb? Can he say atleast a sorry? Halfords need to think about employing this type of staff!

Useless and a rip off. Callled first to check someone there who could fix a peddle on a kids bike, as their shop 20 minutes away and it was 630pm. Told by the very inarticulate Rob “yes”, so went. Got there “sorry no bike technician we are trying to recruit one”. But then they look at it and suggest taking it in the next day(listing the various things wrong with it) saying it needs £20.+ labour and parts spending on it. So, I took it in - the next day - to a local bike repair shop, not Halfords. Guy fixed in in two minutes. Asked for £2 in charity box. So good old Halfords lied on the phone to get me in, then again to get me back, to waste more on petrol and take money for work that did not need doing. Utter utter incompetent con artists.
