Bought a new laptop and vacuum cleaner today. Extremely helpful staff. Joey gave advice and help with both items and made sure we got the best deal. Excellent.
The range of display items is very handy and the staff are on hand and keen to offer assistance as required. Store stock can be a little hit and miss but it's easy enough to get sorted either by asking for the most local alternative or just biding your time. It's worth a physical store to know exactly what you're getting.
My score is based on one visit for some computer ink. The last three occasions there were to buy a washing machine, computer and TV. The staff could not answer my questions about a washing machine so we bought cheaper online, they weren't able to advise on the computer so I went to the Apple Store and when I ordered a TV to collect, their online service messed that up as well. It's convenient if you know what you want, can get it from stock, pay and walk out with it.
Went in for a tv sound-bar and was served by Elliott and we spent around an hour him going through all the different sound-bars I could have. We went through all the demos and he went into so much detail. He was absolutely brilliant. I thank him for his time as now I have made the perfect choice for my tv gaming set up.
Went in to buy a tele that I've been looking at for a while. Was able to immediately find a sales assistant and he helped carry the TV to the car afterwards. Treated me with kindness and respect. Currys never fail for me
I've bought numerous TVs and Blu-ray players here over the years, and they've always been great value for money. The place is spotless, due in part to a man named Francisco, who is very wise and looks like a young Eric Cantona
Exceptional service from Sean today when purchasing an upgrade to my phone. Always a very busy place but all staff are amazing, knowledgeable and go the extra mile!
Went into our local Currys on saturday to buy a microwave but the store was very busy so we came back a few days later. The microwave we looked at on saturday which was not on any promotion had gone up in price by £20! When i queried it i was told the price changes daily. Needless to say we went elsewhere
Came in to buy a laptop after starting up a little business, a little clueless so needed some advice. We couldn’t find any staff so I went to ask at the desk and was pointed over toward a guy called Elliot. Elliot was super rude. I asked for some help with picking a laptop and he rolled his eyes and told me to go and find someone else, with no real reason, because he’d been having a chat with his friends for ten minutes prior. I mentioned to another member of staff how rude he’d been. I found a lovely lady called Louise who was more then happy to help. Whilst finding Louise I’d left my partner by the laptops, Elliot didn’t know he was my partner and as he was walking back from the back of the store he said very loudly to another college “Someone’s actually just complained about me for not helping them but they didn’t ask for ******* help” I’m glad we found Louise, she was super polite and knowledgeable, she was more then happy to help, was able to answer all of our questions in detail and thanks to her amazing customer service we aren’t put off returning to the store in the future despite the rude staff member. She was an absolute ray of sunshine. Thanks :
Had faulty microwave still under warranty was told by currys blackpole I could return it to the store, when I got there was told it was under samsung warranty so I must contact samsung, wasted journey, next time I buy something I'll ask if the store or the manufacturer warranty the product
