A large array of different books and an amazing museum! Quite the experience, the staff were exceptionally helpful in finding i book I had wanted. The children's section is filled to the brim with suitable books for a child's upbringing. For older students the Library has a Study zone on the 2nd and 3rd floor. The Library also contains photocopiers ,printers ,and anything you would need.
It is a great place, with an interesting selection of titles. It has an amazing views from the first and second floors, with both quite rooms and spaces for group studies. It also have computers available.
This used to be a state of the art library and I was in here everyday studying for a career and for my hobbies. This library has a lot of potential but it is falling into the hands of the yobbish young on their phones and treating us older folk like dirt. It is also being used as a holding pen for the homeless, destitute and bounders who want to keep out of the cold and rain. The security here is pretty poor and will harass older people for small misdemeanours but are reluctant to challenge the younger generation. It a real shame but that is the state of a lot of these libraries and although it's a travesty they closing more down, I can't see the point of them if they are not being operated correctly.
Ideal place for books lovers. You can use the free internet for study and research purposes. Computers are available and you can bring your own laptop for an amazingly quiet place. Very professional and Friendly staff
Nice library , children’s ones is so good
Large children and adult library with museum and cafè. Toilets on the first floor.
My go-to place when I was a young teenager at school. Glad this library hasn't closed down like a lot of others have.
Excellent place with local community sharing the spot in positive means. The tech club for children is a great initiative.
What I really love about this library is the member of stuff, they are very friendly and very helpful. I always feel at home when I am here with my kids. Also the cafeteria has a wonderful stuff. Thank you for making us feeling cared.
Decent place. Toilets are filthy although hardly surprising given cuts to public services, the plugs points in the silent study zone are irritating. I have seen many people with mobility issues/elderly really struggling to get down on all 4s and plug their laptop into the floor! Sockets need to be on desks to keep up with the 21st century and for those with less mobility
