A well curated exhibition on the history of vibrant Hackney. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. I especially enjoyed learning about Hackney as hotbed for political activism and how people of different cultures came to call it home.
A lovely cute museum. Kids loved it. Staff are brilliant and very helpful.
Interesting facts about Hackney, but don’t expect a big place, it is inside a big building.
I like this museum a lot it is an excellent place to find out about local history. I highly recommend it. I learnt many things about Hackney that I had no idea about. It was eye opening and entertaining. It is also an excellent place to teach children about learning history.
Currently exhibiting here and having première on 7th November. Happy memories of having a studio space @ Colvestone back-in-the-day.
Very very good musuem. In a brilliant space centrally for all ages. Access is brilliant for wheelchair users.
Interesting and inspiring place! Many historical things about Hackney and it's life years ago. Great fun for kids to play around with provided toys, play on musical instrument and listen to explanation about the objects via headphones. Thought-provoking exhibitions. Very friendly and supporting staff. Thanks.
