Yes, you will like this place for your event. We were 200 people during the BETT show and we had a large gathering in the auditorium with two rooms for side meetings. They have a great capacity for spreading out the participants over several rooms. They have staff on site that assist with any issues and they even rolled inn a spare 50 inch monitor when the projector failed. Well worth it, and so close to the BETT arena.
Superb exhibit and extremely interesting and informative. The Crystal is a sustainability museum that has information about so many different areas, from the potential housing crisis in the future and building in a sustainable manner. There are also models of electric cars and motorbikes - to water filtration systems. Students including University Students go free here. Incredibly interesting and worth visiting!
Visited this museum/exhibition centre while visiting the sites in the Greenwich area. At £5, this is a very reasonably prices exhibition by London standards. So the exhibition is an educational exhibition of urbanisation and sustainable ways of living with ideas on achieving those goals. Worth a visit if in the Greenwich area, although it's a bit far from the main Greenwich sites. The Crystal can be easily reached via the Emirates Air Line though
Great location for this building, have been here for a work event. The conference rooms are nice with good screens and placement. Refreshments and lunch was served which was outstanding and had 3 more helpings. Located 10 min walk from Canning Town tube station or you can get the Emirates Air Line over to Greenwich.
Amazing event for the UCEM centenary celebrations. The venue was spectacular and brings to the fore sustainability. The speakers were also brilliant. #UCEMCentenary
The Crystal is a state of art building. Beautiful from the inside and out. The sustainable future and the environmental impact of our lives is well explained through interactive activities and exhibitions. My favourite is the film projected in the whole room. Very immersive experience that sticks in your mind. The entry is free for the local residents.
Wow architecture! Didn’t even know that London has such an amazing architectural masterpieces before coming here. Super futuristic!
Very cool idea to promote sustainable ebergy solutions and making them understandable for anyone. I wish we'd spent more time in there, but we were in a rush and I could not appreciate all of the feautures.
Went here for a conference, easy walk from DLR. Nice location on the water
I recently visited The Crystal for a class trip with a group of 9-10 year olds. I’d expected it to be quite dry and thought we’d have to work quite hard to keep the children interested, but quite the opposite. The displays are interesting and there are loads of interactive activities. We all really enjoyed our day.
