GOOD FOR THE KIDS- this museum first opened in the late 90’s when I was still in primary school and my class were the first to be invited to see it. It holds some great history about our borough, However the exhibits have never been changed or altered.

We went there initially because of a very nice exhibition of 150 years of Ilford. Old photos included pictures of my father-in-law's tobacconist shop. We then went into the library where they have extensive resources about the area including paper archives and computer access to online archives. The staff are very helpful. I asked for some information and they got back to me a few days later after digging into the archives.

Is this even a Museum not a great look it needs modification in the surrounding environment but overall it is interesting.
