I found the staff very friendly and competent. I was highly impressed after calling mid afternoon that they could rent me a car the same day. The price was very reasonable and cheaper than other rivals. I would recommend anyone to use them.

Compared to Europcar and Arnold Clark these guys were less than half the price for an equivalent van rental.  Angela and Jenna were hugely helpful and made the process really smooth.  What a great find and certainly made moving furniture for us a lot easier.

We didn't get the car we ordered and no explanation was given. The car we had, had some difficulties starting but once it got going it was a good car.

Brilliant service from here, from Enquiry to booking. The girls were fabulous. Only one slight criticism would be to open earlier on a Monday morning to enable a quicker return, then deal with collections from 8.15am,.just a suggestion, especially as would help those who have to get to work. Would not hesitate to book from here though, and would return if I needed another van. Thanks again.

Went to request a hire car arrived on site to see A young lady outside crying ??? Went in with my wife and asked a young lady Behind counter about hiring a car for 7days She immediately asked my age saying insurance Doesn't cover over 75 which I am not , I wished to pick car up sat morning she said I Had to pick up at 8.15 and return at 8.15 as I had to travel to Scunthorpe I politely asked If it could be a little later a prompt answer no A bit of an inconvenient time as had to set off Early from holiday to return car at 8.15. I asked what time they closed on Saturday And she said 11.30 So no flexibility for customers I found it an unpleasant experience and shall Not return.

Made enquiry on line, received email confirmation.  Turned up as booked to be told there was no car to have. Very unhelpful attitude from staff.

If I could put 0 stars I would what a terrible company, the people working in here have no customer service skills whatsoever, rang in for a large van booked it in to collect the next morning. When I arrived I was not greeted at all was just left stood there like a plumb, eventually I was spoken to and was told I didn't have the right info they said on the phone two proofs of address not that it had to be two letters posted through the door within 8 weeks so off I went on a 15 mile round trip to get a different letter got back passed all the checks and they called through for the van I booked the day before to be told its already gone out and no more big vans in so wasted hours of my time for nothing and as for the guy in the back sat piping up maybe you should be out front dealing with all the unhappy customers or organising your vans properly absolute retards!!!

Sadly information shows that the personal details of the customers are not secure and one of the customers was assaulted whilst on site by members of staff this happened as the customer returned a van that was rented for the day

Friendly and helpful staff as usual that got me a van at short notice. I've used Ready Rent lots of times now and wont go anywhere else. nice to work with a firm that goes the extra mile..keep up the good work!
