I hire a car every year for my annual summer holiday,  the usual car hire company I use are now atrociously expensive  - nearly more than the holiday! Decided to use this company due to the reviews.   They really are brilliant,  straightforward and easy to deal with;  I couldn't believe the price, it was incredibly cheap compared to what I have previously paid for car hire - lovely people as well,  I definitely will be using them again.

Dirty vans, in a poor technical condition and staff with inappropriate attitude. If you want to be insulted for services you pay for, this is the right place. I would have liked to speak with the branch manager, but unfortunately he was not there. I am available for a discussion if he wishes.  So I had to settle for the inappropriate and unprofessional attitude of the lady from the reception.  A company that I won't recommend even to my enemies.

Rented a car for a month and the service was brilliant. Would defenetly recommend:

Genuinely the best experience I’ve had with regard to renting a vehicle and I must have rented over 100 cars/vans over the years. I don’t generally write reviews either but these lads deserve a bit of credit! Lower deposit than anywhere I’ve bin and paid before, good choice of vehicles and staff couldn’t do enough to help me get what I wanted. The full thing from walking in to leaving in a car I required can’t have bin longer than 20 mins either. Top lads, top company. 5*****

So I was unfortunate enough to cause a tiny light scratch on the car I hired recently. It wasn't a deep key like scratch but probably caused by a thorn bush. I was told all was ok on check in and assumed my deposit would be returned. Alas three weeks on no deposit so I enquired via email to ask about it. No response so I rang in to the office who told me yes they had retained the deposit as they would have to repaint the whole panel. I suppose Father Christmas and the Tooth Fairy are real too, polish and t cut and done more like!. I wouldn't mind but have been using them regularly for over 5yrs and very satisfied. Not this time round and won't be returning. F.T.R AVIS & Enterprise wouldn't have charged for such a light scuff.

Fantastic rental experience. £150 for a brand new van for a full week. Easy to book although online or phone booking would be helpful, staff are all friendly and helpful. Pick-up went smoothly and drop-off was fine too. Quality of the vehicle was perfect – I miss driving it already. And there were no quibbles about returning the deposit you hear horror stories about some rental places arguing over imagined "damage", but definitely not here!. I hired the van to move to Scarborough, so Hull is pretty far out of my way now – but regardless I'll be back here for another hire next time I need a van as soon as Ikea reopens!. Thanks again to all the staff.

The worst experience that I ever had  with a van rental company. I won't recommend it
