We have used Enterprise a few times and had mixed experiences. I have to say on this occasion the service was excellent.nThe pre-collection call was a nice touch and the gentleman was polite and helpful. On collection the van was immaculate and was brand new, the only downside was it was without fuel which did mean a short diversion after collection to fill it up, the ability to return the van to another location was handy and after the hire the deposit and partial fuel costs were refunded as a gesture of goodwill.nOverall an excellent service and I wouldn’t hesitate to use enterprise again if needed.
Absolute scam!nHad a 9 seater minibus worked onto me when I had a small SUV booked.nWasn't walked around the vehicle and was charged my £250 excess upon return for a 4mm stone chip in the windscreen, which I'm convinced wasn't during my hire.nWas consistently told it would be a new windscreen replacement even when a contractor had started the repair in front of me!nWill I receive the difference back from what was a £70 repair at most or will they invoice for a new windscreen???
Abserloutely shocking I come to check in the day before im then told I need a credit card for the van which is booked for tommorow I offer a credit card to put down from 2 family members they wouldnt accept it. Its been pe paid and ive only just been informed today about this credit card. Im now checking my check in text link which has just spontaneously added 2 lots of value added tax meaning I now some how owe them 30+ quid. Trying to ring to resolve but no body answers the phone.nnHonestly abserloute joke of a company avoid it at all costs go somewhere else it a joke guys dont fall into this same trap if your mooving house.
The initial price of the van hire was great, the service from the team in Hessle was fantastic and the van was perfect for what I needed. The only thing I would mention as a negative was the £2500 excess applied to the van, which upon pick up could be reduced to a £250 excess for a payment of £75 which would have almost doubled the cost of my hire. This seemed a crazy excess to apply as standard, maybe £500 would have been more sensible. I declined the £75 offer, but was then offered it for £50 which I reluctantly paid for peace of mind and not getting lumbered with such a ridiculous excess had I had an accident.
Not sure what happened but the inside of the car was filthy with hair balls in a cup holder and stinky sweet wrappers in the glove box. Not impressed at all. I should have rejected the car but needed it for a work trip..
