I’ve got nothing bad to say about this restaurant. As someone who enjoys Indian food, this was one of the nicest I’ve had in my lifetime - tasty and freshly cooked. The restaurant itself, despite being in a basement, was well-lit with mirrors and didn’t feel at all claustrophobic - you actually forget you’re underground. The next time I’m in town, I’ll definitely be going here!!
The best Indian in town! We always come to the rajah when we fancy an Indian and it never disappoints, it’s delicious every single time! We love the coconut naan especially. The staff are so polite and friendly with quick service, we are always given a little chocolate and hot wipes before we leave which is lovely. We wish there was an option to add a tip on the card machine as we didn’t have money on us and would have liked to have given one. Will see you again soon!
This restaurant is lovely from the decor to the staff to the service to the food and for the price. Pakora to die for honestly not had such a nice pakora in the 5 years we have stayed up here. Garlic chilli veg was awesome as was the chapati, so fresh and tasty. Will definitely be back very soon.

On our vacation to Inverness, we went to this restaurant for Indian food. We have ordered 10 different varieties but I can give Zero star for all the dishes. If you are looking for authentic Indian food, stay away from this. Highly recommend NOT to go!!
Not recommended. Ambiance was good and staff was very good I must say. They suggest proper menu items as well. If you are Indian and want to have proper authentic food like it’s made back home then you’ll be disappointed. All non vegetarian curries are same taste and meats are prepared separately. Vegetarian options: Only Dal is good Rest all curries are tasteless.
As prices go up, quality seems to go down. If you order a king prawn dish there are very few prawns in it. The flavours of my takeaway on Friday night were quite diluted and not very hot even though I waited for 20 mins for it to be cooked fresh. It puts me off from paying top money for less quality. It's such a shame! Wheelchair accessibility: Not suitable.
Went in a party of eight. Everyone loved the food. You can taste all the spices. Quick service. Great atmosphere. We will be Back. Parking: Multistorey car park close by on Rose Street.

Excellent starter and main meal. Samosas followed by chicken tandoori style. Chicken cooked to perfection. Great flavour nothing to fault. Great staff and service. I highly recommend.
