My partner and I were in the castle restaurant today the 10/12/2020. I can happily confirm it is back to its best, the food was hot and there was plenty. I think that the crinkle cut chips are even better than berfore. Well done to the jammy piece for taking over.
What a helping you are given in this cosy wee restaurant. I had steak pie and chips and it was just so good. I had to go for a long walk afterwards to walk off such a big hearty meal. I have been coming here for years and it is as good as ever.
I have always loved this restaurant. THe food is fantastic and the helpings are just what you need after a days shopping. Even as a kid I would pick this restaurant over MacDonalds. Amazing.
Plenty of food in good price! I couldn't eat everything, coz it was too much. I really recommend crispy haggis balls. Everything is hot and tasty.
The castle restaurant is iconic and shouldn't be missed. The steak pie with crinkle cut chips are to die for. Get a wee buttered roll and a glass of irn bru and you'll be drowning in the feast of Scottish gods!
Big portions, all the meals I have tried were all great tasting
When in Inverness we always visit the Castle Restaurant for food, the steak pie is highly recommended and is always amazing and you can't not have a banana boat. The staff are always friendly, can't wait for our next visit.
I met the owner today while I was waiting for my takeaway. I was talking to my friend about the poor presentation of the menu. He came out the side door after hearing my comments in a rage and offered to fill me in. Not what you would expect from a business owner!
Food was very good but service and cleanliness let it down. Very ride to customers. Saw one waitress actually blow into a man's pint as she had made the head top big.
Cheerful efficient staff, excellent Covid-19 precautions, amazing food and huge portions!
