Food was OK, pics look better than it tasted. Roast dinner was lacking some flavours here and there. ie, gravy. Cauli cheese didn't taste of cheese. Roasties a little undercooked. Value for money though.
So glad they were able to get us in. Seems all restaurants in Scotland want you to make a reservation.Food: 4/5
I had booked a charity event and it was amazing, the staff from brambles and Dows were a pleasure to work with and the event was a complete success
Typical pub grub, with staff being very friendly, polite and efficient. Service was a little slow despite the restaurant only having about 4 tables occupied including ours
Great food and service. The waitess was brilliant and the chef made me a special meal which was delicious. Thank you. A great evening out. Dietary restrictions: The Chef was really helpful and offered to make me something which was not on the menu to cater for my vegetarianism and other dietary needs.
Good beer and bar-service, but mediocre food. The waitress seems a bit confused, but got everything right at the end.
Had a meal there on Sun 10 out of 10 was amazing, good food and good atmosphere, staff were friendly and polite, will be going back again xx
Great little gastropub, staff were very attentive and freindly and the food served was all full of flavour and great to taste. The Chicken Waffle Burger is a must have for anyone who loves some quality chicken!

Always a nice friendly place to shoot some pool. And have a small meeting.
