We had a take away, I ordered sag tikka special, quite disappointed, the chicken was very small diced and I mean small, more like mince, also the dish should have been medium heat, but it was very mild, Pilau rice was nice so was the garlic nan, over all not very good value for money, sag tikka special was priced at £10.95, overall there must have been two chunks of chicken minced the rest was onion and spinach. This is the second time we have tried Indian from this restaurant, will not be ordering for a third time, although they do say third time lucky.

Absolutely outstanding - service AND food. Oh, and Cobra beer!! Don't be put off by the entrance/stairs to this complete gem of an Indian restaurant. Unbelievable menu and all prepared and cooked freshly. A family run restaurant where the welcome and service was outstanding. Excellent and 100% recommended. Don't miss it!!

Very Very Good. In my humble opinion, only certain British Indian Restaurants can achieve a certain taste which I love, this place has achieved it. Regardless of what fancy specialities are on the menu, I always try the Lamb Rogan Josh when visiting a new place for the first time. The Lamb Rogan here was the best I've tasted in a long long time, maybe ever.

We visited Raj Mahal with friends this evening and had a fantastic meal! We couldn't fault it, we would definitely recommend a visit here! And we will be visiting again!
