Very old grade two listed pub that hasn't been ruined by being modernised or having its layout altered. No TV or jukebox blasting out either. Four intimate rooms and a snug. Rare in this day and age. Good selection of drinks and great staff. Lovely atmosphere in there too. Is in need of a refresh which will be getting done this year apparently. But all in all a lovely unspoilt pub.

Decided top pop in here for a drink. Very dark, dingy and in need of a coat of paint. Not very welcoming as ordered drinks and hardly an acknowledgment by bar man. Beer served with large head no offer to top up. Decided to go into beer garden. Dog poo on lawn and not very nice. Overall not impressed.
