Great pub for a countryside walk and this weekend it's the Rev Up festival
True local pub on the Avonlon marshes. Lovely land lady and land lord Maggie and Phil. Very friendly, on my list when we are in Somerset again.
Ideal for a relaxing beer in the gardens on the Somerset levels,Close to Ham Wall Nature Reserve.Good range of drinks, Warm open fire in winter months
Been going in there for over 60 years lived there in the early 60s Fantastic place, inside and especially outside. Always welcoming, good selection of beer and cider. 10/10
A pub in the middle of nowhere! This pub has a huge garden which was used as a mini festival one evening at the end of Summer. A great musical evening with food and people camping. The pub itself is one of a kind. A community pub for the local community. I have driven past it on many occasions, but only the once ventured in.
A pub like they used to be. Basic, down to earth outside gents toilet remember those?, well kept beers and ciders and ice creams at very reasonable prices. Friendly service but don't expect food unless you're attending one of their awesome 'Sunday sessions' summer Live music and bbq events or pre-arranged skittles. Good outdoor space and very close to Ham Wall and Shapwick Heath nature reserves, so handy for walkers and twitches.
Good social pub, great prices and a good setting.
A GREAT local pub, friendly staff and very reasonably priced drinks. The Sunday Sessions have been excellent and today was the very talented Nick Parker and The False Alarms. A very talented band. Check them out if you haven't already.
A strong locals friendly pub, good beer, sociable staff and customers.
The Railway Inn is a friendly 'local' pub with a roaring log fire in the winter. Also a great place to visit before or after or both! seeing the starling murmurations at Ham Wall which is only 200 yards away. Wilkins cider is recommended at £2.30 a pint.
