A nice places for camping just 2 hours from Glasgow..A mix of lakes on sides and a beautiful valley on one site..It breathing taking and peaceful..Just 25 mins walking is mount arthur..Good for trekking
Nice little station with a lot of charm and traditional shelters with the exception of the self appointed parking warden peering through the curtains rushing out to criticise how you’ve parked who obviously has too much time on her hands. The lines for the parking bays are nowhere near defined correctly unless you look very closely and there is not a court in the land which would uphold any ticket for parking outside the bays.

Quiet, sleepy station between a sea loch and a land loch. Right in around Glen Loin, Arrochar, Loch Lomond and Tarbet with all areas walkably close. Has 2 huts for shelter, and an information board with ample space in a parking area just off the A83. A quick improvement that would greatly improve the services would be some work on the huts - heating, better less broken doors and moving the service boards into them as the wind tears through the valley and the entire platform is otherwise completely exposed. Overall great location and adequate services.
A small, perfectly maintained station with two dry, clean and freshly painted waiting rooms. Well lit with digital information boards and cameras. Safe and pretty. A station ScotRail can be proud of.
2 nights in Arrochar with 5 very good friends. Beautiful place with stunning scenery.
Lovely place, well worth a visit.
