Enjoyed a lovely lunch here . The oysters were beautiful and so fresh and tasty . Only criticism was the shallot vinegar was not the best to compliment the oyster. Lobster and scallops were a wee bit over cooked but I realise that seconds can make all the difference with these delicate ingredients and I still enjoyed the food. The staff were great. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Would recommend as a lovely place to have food in a fabulous setting with reasonable prices.
Brought my husband here for lunch today. I've been once on a past family holiday but a first for the hubby. Did not disappoint. Service was excellent, food divine! Planning to drop back in for some deli bits and maybe a takeaway on the way home. Parking: Loads of parking. We have a large dog so made the most of the adjoining fields to throw a ball around for him between courses, though understandably, wasn't allowed into the restaurant.
The location is surrounded by mountains. There is a beautiful lake i come in november The weather will be cool and comfortable. Inside the shop, the seats are arranged in a friendly manner. It can be enjoyed for group customers. Because we can have a conversation while waiting for food, which is not long, and the food is seafood. There are many to choose from, the taste is very good, delicious, fresh and I recommend the crab menu. Crab in its shell is delicious. And especially the drinking water here is delicious. I really like this restaurant And intend to come back again for sure
Lovely place for a lunch stop with a delicious selection of mainly seafood based options but there are dishes for those who prefer turf over surf. The sticky toffee pudding was also delicious. Friendly service and both indoor and outdoor seating available. Plus bonus charging available for electric vehicles!
The food is delicious at Loch Fyne Oysters with a really great selection of quality dishes. The only negative I can say is it was difficult to know who our server was and the staff where very busy and struggling to deal with table service and although it was busy it not packed out. The deli counter has an amazing selection and the lady made the best latte ever Kid-friendliness: Kids are as welcome as adults Parking: Plenty of car parking even for motorhomes Wheelchair accessibility: Although gravel car park the shop and restaurant has no steps and is all on one level
If you find yourself near to this outstanding seafood cafe it's well worth a visit. For seafood fans you can't go wrong. Highly recommend experiencing it's quality menu, and it's located in some stunning scenery too.
So you have a fresh counter, a bit like a mini farm shop, you also have an outdoor eating area, and a restaurant inside.. The outdoor area is very popular in the summer, as there's a small takeaway menu, but for this they will still bring the food out to you, which can be eaten on wooden tables. Toilets available. Plenty of parking. The fish is very fresh, and highly recommended!!
It’s pricey but it’s beautiful. We came for lunch with a stunning view. Plenty of parking outside, the decor is stunning inside - everything is bright and clean. The service is attentive but not overbearing. The food itself was nice - my husband tried oysters, then we had a selection of dishes. Everything was fresh and tasty. I had the fish and it was delicious. We ordered too much and were able to take some home. Beware that it’s expensive though. The side of halloumi fries were £9. NINE BRITISH POUNDS. That needs to be sorted right out.
Nice food bar, extensive deli store all with very friendly and helpful staff. The scallops could have been a bigger serving, but the oysters - omg, best oysters I ever had - a good Chardonnay with them - and it was a memorable lunch.
A surprise visit, and it did not disappoint. I love fish, but my husband less so, but he did enjoy the langoustines and mussels. My fish cake and half lobster were amazing....don't go here on a first date...it can be a bit messy. LolFood: 5/5
